Truly there is no warmth on this earth apart from human relations. When one person connects with another in a way that only God can define, there grows out of this connection something immortal, something valiant, strong and fearless against the utter cold and vacuity of the universe. It is a sphere of comfort, when two are brought together, that emits forth peace, security, and a feeling, oh so rare, that one belongs on this earth, in this place, right here and right now. For friendship is more than companionship, it is a sharing of the soul, when the frail and yet persistent image of fallacy - that masquerade of fear and pride - is forsaken altogether, and in its place the boy, the child, the purity of who you are comes forth to breathe again. It is not merely sharing of thoughts, it is the birthing of new ideas, new wonders, and new dreams, for when you share with a friend you become more than two minds, you become the union of heart, soul, and mind, harnessed as one and able to stretch out your ability far beyond what is humanly possible. Where one falters, the other leads the way, and where one falls, the other offers a hand. Therefore, one is not only protected from failure, one is almost secured success. A true friend sees us as we wish to see ourselves, but cannot, for they understand weakness, and failure, and pain, but they care little for it in you, choosing instead to see the glory written upon your heart, the nobility of dreams you've only dared to share once or twice. And seeing these two contrasting characters, they cast aside the one and with many words, and laughter, and communion, they bring forth the warrior, the hero, the poet, with shouts of triumph, "I always knew you had it in you!" and so you did after all.
For the love of a friend I would do anything.
I'm glad you like it!

"I wonder what's in a book while it's closed. I know it's full of letters printed on paper, but [..] something must be happening, because as soon as I open it, there's a whole story with people I don't know yet and all kinds of adventures and battles."
